Why the form of collagen matters
Each chew provides 20 mg of UC-II®, an undenatured form of type II collagen that retains its natural structure. Hydrolysed collagen is broken down into smaller peptides. Because they are different ingredient forms, their milligram figures are not directly comparable.

What is UC-II®?
UC-II® is an undenatured form of type II collagen that retains its natural structure. It is a different ingredient form from ordinary or hydrolysed collagen.
How should I give the chews?
Give the chicken-flavour soft chew directly or with food. Give the full weight-based serving once per day.
How long does one tub last?
A tub contains 60 chews. It provides a 60-day supply for dogs under 25 kg and a 30-day supply for dogs weighing 25 kg or more.
Do I need to give a larger amount at the start?
No. Follow the normal weight-based serving from the first day: one chew daily below 25 kg, or two chews daily at 25 kg or more.
What if I miss a day?
Continue with the normal recommended amount the next day. Do not double the serving to make up for a missed day.
When might I notice a difference?
Allow approximately four to six weeks of consistent daily use before assessing any change. Results vary between dogs.
How can I keep track of any changes?
Make a simple weekly note of the same everyday movements and routines. Looking back over several weeks can be easier than judging small differences from one day to the next.
Is it suitable for puppies?
No. Hip & Joint Complete is for adult dogs and is not suitable for puppies or pregnant or nursing dogs.
Can my dog take this with medication or another supplement?
Speak to your vet before use if your dog takes medication, is under veterinary care or already receives another supplement. This helps avoid unsuitable combinations or giving the same ingredient twice.
How should I store the chews?
